As we wave farewell to Camino Kymmy, 5 little piggies set out towards our second breakfast. It’s a sad moment as Camino Kymmy has decided to call it quits due to her knee injury. It’s unfortunate that her knee hasn’t healed enough for her to continue riding the Camino.
As we sped towards our intended location at a brisk pace of 34 kilometers per hour, the idea suddenly struck us that we could potentially bypass the town we had originally planned to rest in and push further up the road. However, this ambitious notion left Penny and mum were in need of another jolt of caffeine. Luckily, while stopping at a local cafe, we encountered a group of school girls who spoke fluent English. Taking advantage of the opportunity, mum decided ask their help in securing our accommodation for the night. With their assistance, we were able to successfully book our beds and breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that we wouldn’t have to compete with any other weary pilgrims for a bed.
You’re probably familiar with the rest of this tale: check-in, refreshing shower, afternoon nap, drinks at the bar. We decided to have dinner at a spot named Las Vegas, but it wasn’t quite the lively atmosphere we were expecting. Nevertheless, the dinner was delicious. Once we got back to our casa, we stumbled upon a puzzle game and indulged in some cups of tea and a whole block of chocolate.
