It was time for art again, so I jumped back into my 19c art smock! Mum said. “Grace you need to put paint all over your hands!”
Gosh maybe mum hasn’t had coffee today as there is NO WAY mum allows paint on our skin! Finn and I looked at each other, maybe the isolation is getting to mum???!!!
No she wasn’t joking, mum told Finn to paint my paint my hand and stamp it onto a piece of paper.
It was then time for me to paint Finn’s hand, I couldn’t wait!!!!!
When the paint dried we then wrote a friendly message. The letters were for our neighbourhood letting them know to call mums mobile if in isolation and they needed a hand. Some of our neighbours are elderly and I hope they do call my mum if they needed us.
I was excited to pop the letters in their letterboxes!
Mum even let Finn and I walk around the corner and pop a letter in my Year 1 teachers letterbox. I hope she writes back!
