Translator App

Dad has an App on his smartphone it’s called Translator. You can type in English what you want to stay in another language and it types out in another language, or in reverse.

You can also take a photo of words in another language and the App scans the photo and translates what it said.

It has voice recording that you speak into and translates into another language. As well as this it has audio that you can use to make sure you pronounce the words correctly.

We used the App in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.

Grace and Penny used the app to speak to two elderly pilgrims doing the Camino.

I used the app to type in words to learn how to say them.

At a bar in Seville dad and I used it to order food and thank the waiter. Dad used it to check on train times and get a train ticket.

Tonight in Avigion I used the translator app to translate a French comic book. It was fun!
