Our story keeps unfolding quicker than I can type!
Victoria, followed by NSW began the lockdown of places where people gather like bars, clubs, museums, large venues, weddings limited to 5 people, funerals limited to 10 people attending and no essential flights and travel. Lots of places overseas had already closed, even Disneyland! So many people have lost their jobs. I am very grateful my mum and dad work in emergency services.
The aim of the lockdowns is to slow the spread of the virus. The supermarkets, shopping centres, petrol stations, chemists and food by takeaway remain open.
Mum loves her coffee and really enjoyed her last one in this photo! Poppy Pete thought it was very funny that mum would have to drink instant coffee!
Mum spoke about the impact of the Covid-19 lockdowns on this little local cafe and other businesses in our town, across Australia and the world.
Sports games cancelled including the AFL, NRL, the Olympics and my soccer!
Social distancing became stricter! I was now stuck at home with MY SISTER! Mum on the weekends always lets us have friends over, our house was the QUIETEST ITS EVER BEEN! Dad loves the peace and quiet of our home now! hahaha
Just when I thought that was all the lockdowns … Dad sat us down for a family meeting and then explained how homeschooling would work in our home.
HOMESCHOOLING … what??? Would I ever see my mates again!!!!!!?????
Grace and I seriously loved school but dads home school sounded really STRICT! I thought dad was joking then mum started piling up unread novels!
Grace and I looked at each other, Graces eyes were so WIDE OPEN she didn’t even blink.
Stay safe everyone!

Better to be locked down then locked out . I guess your parents have that to look forward to in another few years …if they ever lock the house that is
