Today I got back in my nicks and riding shirt as we were off to ride the Gibbston Valley Track. After Better By Bikes sized us up for bikes we were off. The trail goes beside the river the whole way.
The track wasn’t flat, there was lots of up and steep down. This meant I had to change my gears a lot. There was swing bridges to cross.
Grace came flying down a hill only to find herself facing ten tourists walking all across the track. Grace said a man started screaming out to move his group, but they didn’t all hear. One of them grabbed Graces speed racing bike by the handle bars to pull her up. But that made Grace lose her balance and instead she took one person out …. they went flying! Grace then did an endo over the top of her handle bars and off into the bushes.
Mum said she came down the hill could see five selfie sticks in that air moving around and a lady trying to put her beanie back on. Dad wondered what was taking Grace so long so he returned back along the track. Dad brushed the leaves and twigs off Grace and off she went again.
We stopped and had an icy pole at AJ Hackett the first bungy place in New Zealand. We watched some people bungy.
Off we rode again. Mum said this sign was real but I didn’t believe her!
We stopped at a cheese factory and ate lots of yummy cheese.
Along the way I had a try of Penny’s ebike I felt like I was on a rocket!
Another great bike ride was done and dusted!
