We went back to the farm shop to see if they had chickens for sale since the fox ate ours before the holiday. We bought 2 isa brown chickens.
Grace named hers Lulu and I named mine Polly.
They are only young and will take about 6 more weeks until they start to lay eggs. Mum put hay back in their nest boxes. We bought a fake egg and put in the nest box. This fake egg is to show them where to lay when they start laying eggs again.
I will write again when we get our first egg!
