Hire electric bikes in Madrid

I started writing this blog when dad started telling me about hiring electric pushbikes. All the big cities in Spain have bikes you hire for a few hours to get to and from work or home. In Spain you have to drive, ride or walk on the right hand side, not like Australia where we ‘Keep left’.

A couple of times I have looked, walked or ride into the wrong lane!

In both Spain and Portugal we travelled on very fast trains. The fastest train we caught went at 300km per hour. The fast trains are between the big cities. There are small urban trains also.

At the bottom of Spain dad and I caught some buses as there were no trains.

I have seen a couple of motorbikes in the cities. I wish I had my motorbike to do the Camino on that would be a lot of fun.

There are taxis like in Australia and we have been in them a couple of times.

My sister rode a horse on one of the section of the Camino to get up a very steep hill with Penny.

You can fly between the big cities. We will fly out of Spain when we finish the second Camino hike.
